The game in Stevnsgade was also quite interesting. Sixth ranked Naestved (12-14) played at the court of 8th ranked Stevnsgade (1-25). Naestved did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 89-71 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Naestved. Stevnsgade managed to win third quarter 18-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Naestved dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Stevnsgade's 40 and made 23-of-29 free shots (79.3 percent) during the game. Guamanian-American guard Earnest Ross (196-91, college: Missouri) fired 19 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Austrian point guard Moritz Lanegger (190-90) chipped in 10 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Five Naestved players scored in double figures. Forward Filip Rajovic (190-97) produced 18 points and 7 assists and American power forward Davie Champagnie (206-90, college: Martin Methodist, agency: SPORTlab Agency) added 17 points and 10 rebounds respectively for lost side. Stevnsgade's coach Ricky Kristensen rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Naestved moved-up to fifth place. Stevnsgade lost fourth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 25 lost games. Naestved will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Stevnsgade will play against Svendborg (#4) and hope to win that game.
