Regular Season Round 21: Energa Czarni - PGE Turow 78-72

There was a minor upset when 8th ranked PGE Turow (12-11) lost to tenth ranked Energa Czarni (12-10) in Slupsk 72-78 on Saturday. American swingman Chavaughn Lewis (196-93, college: Marist) nailed 11 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals for the winning side and his fellow American import power forward David Kravish (208-92, college: California) accounted for 12 points and 11 rebounds. Five Energa Czarni players scored in double figures. Ukrainian-American forward Denis Ikovlev (200-86, college: Nevada) came up with 19 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and American center Kirk Archibeque (205-84, college: Fort Lewis) added 18 points and 7 rebounds (perfect from the field making all nine shots !!!) respectively for PGE Turow in the defeat. Energa Czarni moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Trefl Sopot. Loser PGE Turow dropped to the tenth position with 11 games lost. They share it with Polpharma and Szczecin. Energa Czarni will meet league's leader Stelmet in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. PGE Turow will play against AZS Polfarmex (#16) and hope to secure a win.
