Regular Season Round 22: Real Canoe - Alcobendas 75-55

Very expected game in Madrid where 11th ranked Alcobendas (9-12) was crushed by first ranked Real Canoe (19-3) 75-55 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Real Canoe. Alcobendas was better in fourth quarter 17-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Real Canoe dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Alcobendas' 30. Real Canoe forced 19 Alcobendas turnovers and outrebounded them 33-22 including 25 on the defensive glass. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Real Canoe have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain first position in Group B with 19-3 record. Loser Alcobendas keeps the eleventh place with 12 games lost. Real Canoe will face La Roda (#4) on the road in the next round. Alcobendas will play against Rivas (#14) and hope to win that game.
