Everything went according to plan when fifth ranked Szolnok (13-7) beat at home 11th ranked Jaszberenyi (7-13) 77-69 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of international swingman David Vojvoda (196-90) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 5 assists and Montenegrin Nikola Pavlicevic (192-88) who added 13 points and 5 assists during the contest. American swingman Brian Williams (196-92, college: La-Lafayette, agency: Haylett Sports) responded with 18 points and his fellow American import guard Devon Saddler (183-91, college: Delaware) scored 14 points and 5 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Szolnok have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending champion moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Kaposvari. Loser Jaszberenyi keeps the eleventh position with 13 games lost. Szolnok is looking forward to face Atomeromu (#12) in Paks in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Jaszberenyi will play at home against Szedeak and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
