Regular Season Round 20: Arkadikos - Aiolos Astakou 66-73

Not a big story in a game in Arkadia where 11th ranked Arkadikos (7-13) was defeated by fifth ranked Aiolos Astakou (12-8) 73-66 on Saturday. Aiolos Astakou forced 19 Arkadikos turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Vassilis Kitsoulis (204-83) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 7 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) and guard Nikos Kaklamanos (189-81) who added 16 points and 4 assists during the contest. Center Savvas Tsougarakis (207-86) responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) and forward Giannis Prodromou (196-87) scored 13 points and 5 rebounds. Four Arkadikos players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Newly promoted Aiolos Astakou maintains fifth position with 12-8 record. Loser Arkadikos dropped to the twelfth place with 13 games lost. Aiolos Astakou will face GS Larissas (#14) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Arkadikos will play against Faros in Keratsiniou and hope to win that game.
