Regular Season Round 23: Westerstede - BSW Sixers 75-92

No shocking result in a game when third ranked Sixers (12-4) beat on the road 8th ranked Westerstede (5-10) 92-75 on Sunday. Sixers dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Westerstede's 40. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American forward Terrence Williams (198-93, college: Charlotte) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). Croatian swingman Sandro Kordis (195-92) contributed with 25 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four Sixers players scored in double figures. Power forward Marcel Kessen (207-97) answered with 25 points and 8 rebounds and American forward Nigel Pruitt (201-94, college: Kennesaw St.) added 20 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Westerstede. Westerstede's coach Milos Stankovic rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Sixers have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain third place in North with 12-4 record having 6 victories less than leader Schwelm. Westerstede lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the eighth position with ten games lost. Sixers will face league's second-placed Stade at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Westerstede will play against Rendsburg (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
