The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Tbilisi: Olimpi (#7) and Cactus Tbilisi (#4). Olimpi (6-13) smashed visiting Cactus Tbilisi (8-12) by 44 points 90-46. The game without a history. Olimpi led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Cactus Tbilisi to just 5 points in fourth quarter. Olimpi held Cactus Tbilisi to an opponent 21.9 percent shooting from the field compared to 49.4 percent accuracy of the winners. Olimpi forced 19 Cactus Tbilisi turnovers. Olimpi are looking forward to face higher ranked Batumi (#6) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Cactus Tbilisi will play against Energy Invest and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
