Regular Season Round 26: MKS DG 2 - AZS KU PO 77-69

There was an upset when higher ranked AZS KU PO (13-11) lost to twelfth ranked MKS DG 2 (7-17) in Dabrowa Gornicza 69-77 on Sunday. Dawid Boryka (188-97) orchestrated the victory by scoring 23 points. Point guard Patryk Wieczorek (188-96) contributed with 13 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. MKS DG 2's coach Wojciech Wieczorek used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Wojciech Leszczynski (190-92) replied with 22 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Krzysztof Chmielarz (180-88) added 16 points in the effort for AZS KU PO. MKS DG 2 have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to tenth place, which they share with AZS PS Gliwice. Newly promoted AZS KU PO keeps the fifth position with 11 games lost.
