There was a small surprise in Cerdanyola del Valle where eleventh ranked Cerdanyola (6-13) won against 8th ranked Valls Nutrion (9-10) 74-66 on Sunday. Valls Nutrion was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Swingman Eric Forne (194-88) scored 20 points and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and guard Genis Tena (186-89) chipped in 15 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side swingman Alejandro Alba (193-77) responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 15 rebounds and guard Jonathan Medina (185-88) scored 17 points. Valls Nutrion's coach let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Cerdanyola moved-up to tenth place in Group C-B, which they share with Castelldefels and Andorra II. Valls Nutrion at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the seventh position with ten games lost. Cerdanyola will face higher ranked Barbera (#4) in Barcelona in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
