Very important is a road loss of second ranked Kutaisi (14-5) against eighth ranked Mgzavrebi (5-15) on Sunday night. Visiting Kutaisi was defeated by Mgzavrebi in Tbilisi 88-75. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Kutaisi. It looked good early as Kutaisi took a 9-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Mgzavrebi took control getting tie in the second period and winning the second half and eventually winning the game that evening by 13 points.
