Regular Season Round 21: Gravelines - Limoges 77-88

An interesting game took place in Gravelines where 7th ranked Gravelines-Dunkerque (11-10) was upset on its own court by tenth ranked Limoges CSP Elite (10-11) 88-77 on Monday. The game was mostly controlled by Limoges CSP Elite. Gravelines-Dunkerque managed to win second period 31-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Limoges CSP Elite made 19-of-22 free shots (86.4 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The best player for the winners was American guard William Buford (196-90, college: Ohio St., agency: Two Points) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international center Ousmane Camara (202-89) chipped in 18 points and 7 rebounds. Four Limoges CSP Elite players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Justin Cobbs (191-91, college: California, agency: Pensack Sports) who recorded a double-double by scoring 30 points, 6 rebounds and 12 assists and the other American import forward Richard Solomon (208-92, college: California, agency: Pensack Sports) added 17 points and 12 rebounds respectively. Gravelines-Dunkerque's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Limoges CSP Elite moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Le Mans. Loser Gravelines-Dunkerque keeps the seventh position with ten games lost. They share it with ASVEL. Limoges CSP Elite will meet at home Olympique Antibes (#16) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Gravelines-Dunkerque will play against Entente Orleans 45 (#17) and hope to secure a win.
