Regular Season Round 28: Horsens IC - Horsholm 96-78

The game between Top Four teams took place in Horsens. First ranked host Horsens IC (22-5) defeated 3rd ranked Horsholm (14-12) 96-78. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Horsholm. The game was mostly controlled by Horsens IC. Horsholm managed to win second period 24-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Horsens IC shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 51.9 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Horsholm's players. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Myles Mack (175-93, college: Rutgers) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 9 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and the other American import power forward Will Artino (211-92, college: Creighton) who added 17 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. Five Horsens IC players scored in double figures. At the losing side American Jyles Smith (209-92, college: Savannah St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds and American-Haitian Marvin Dominique (201-91, college: St.Peter's, agency: Duran International) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Defending champion maintains first position with 22-5 record. Horsholm at the other side keeps the third place with 12 games lost. Horsens IC will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Horsholm will play at home against Stevnsgade and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
