Regular Season Round 28: Bakken - Stevnsgade 118-81

Second ranked Bakken (21-4) crushed at home 8th ranked Stevnsgade (1-25) by 37 points 118-81, which is the biggest margin this round. The game without a history. Bakken led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Stevnsgade's 40. They outrebounded Stevnsgade 55-31 including a 36-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Bakken players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. It was a very good performance for American center Keane Thomann (211-89, college: Missouri So.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points and 16 rebounds. American-Trinidad and Tobago guard Devaughn Akoon-Purcell (196-93, college: Illinois St.) contributed with 22 points for the winners. Bakken's coach Jakob Freil felt very confident that he used 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Forward Filip Rajovic (190-97) replied with 29 points and Spanish guard Jonel Visaq (195-88) added 11 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists in the effort for Stevnsgade. Four Bakken and five Stevnsgade players scored in double figures. Bakken have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 21-4 record behind leader Horsens IC. Stevnsgade lost fourth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 25 lost games. Bakken will have a break next round. Stevnsgade will play on the road against Svendborg (#4) and hope to win that game.
