Regular Season Round 3: Bucaneros - Toros 76-63

No shocking result in a game when Bucaneros (4-2) beat Toros (0-2) in La Guaira 76-63 on Wednesday. They outrebounded Toros 47-30 including 32 on the defensive glass. It was a good game for the former international guard John Cox (194-81, college: USF, agency: Pensack Sports) who led his team to a victory with 23 points. American swingman Jordan Hamilton (201-90, college: Texas) contributed with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Four Bucaneros players scored in double figures. Dominican forward Juan Guerrero (201-93, agency: Basket Management Solutions) answered with 18 points and 7 rebounds and American-Peruvian point guard Kyle Fuller (185-92, college: Vanderbilt) added 19 points in the effort for Toros. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Bucaneros will face Gigantes in Puerto Ordaz in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Toros will play at home against Cocodrilos and look forward to get finally their first victory.
