Regular Season Round 27: Biofarm PZN - Znicz Basket 66-58

There was no surprise when 13th ranked Znicz Basket (10-17) lost to eighth ranked Biofarm PZN (14-13) in Poznan 58-66 on Wednesday. Biofarm PZN looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Biofarm PZN made 8 blocks. It was an exceptional evening for forward Filip Struski (200-94) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 14 rebounds. Point guard Piotr Wieloch (182-94) accounted for 16 points and 6 assists for the winning side. Four Biofarm PZN players scored in double figures. Guard Adrian Kordalski (185-95) came up with 12 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and Tomasz Madziar (195-92) added 12 points respectively for Znicz Basket in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Biofarm PZN have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain eighth place with 14-13 record. Znicz Basket lost third consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth position with 17 games lost. Biofarm PZN will meet at home AZS AGH Krk. (#14) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Znicz Basket will play against SKK Siedlce and hope to secure a win.
