An interesting game for Norrkoping Dolphins (20-8) which hosted in Norrkoping 4th placed Uppsala Basket (17-11). Second ranked Norrkoping Dolphins had an easy win 91-66. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Uppsala Basket. The game without a history. Norrkoping Dolphins led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Uppsala Basket's 38. It was a good game for the former international center Joakim Kjellbom (212-79, college: N.Arizona) who led his team to a victory with 19 points and 8 rebounds. The former international Mikael Lindquist (193-83) contributed with 18 points and 5 assists for the winners. Four Norrkoping Dolphins players scored in double figures. Swingman Axel Nordstrom (193-91) answered with 19 points and 5 rebounds and swingman Anes Zekovic (195-95) added 9 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Uppsala Basket. Uppsala Basket's coach gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Norrkoping Dolphins have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain second place with 20-8 record having just three points less than leader BC Lulea, which they share with Sodertalje. Uppsala Basket at the other side keeps the fourth position with 11 games lost. Norrkoping Dolphins is looking forward to face bottom-ranked Malbas (#9) in Malmo in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Uppsala Basket will play at home against the league's leader BC Lulea (#1) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
