Very predictable result when fifth ranked Aiolos Astakou (13-8) beat at home 14th ranked GS Larissas (5-16) 84-69. Aiolos Astakou dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to GS Larissas' 28. Aiolos Astakou forced 19 GS Larissas turnovers and outrebounded them 41-22 including 28 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. The former international point guard Fanis Koumpouras (185-83) nailed 20 points and 7 assists for the winning side and forward Vassilis Kitsoulis (204-83) accounted for 13 points and 5 rebounds. Aiolos Astakou's coach Michael Koutalianos used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest.
