Not a big story in a game in Lugo where 12th ranked Azkoitia (7-14) was rolled over by tenth ranked Maquinaria Ensino (9-13) 78-59 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Maquinaria Ensino. Azkoitia was better in third quarter 22-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Maquinaria Ensino made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. Maquinaria Ensino outrebounded Azkoitia 54-25 including a 40-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Azkoitia's coach tested ten players seeing no chance for a win. Maquinaria Ensino moved-up to ninth place in Group A, which they share with Segle XXI. Loser Azkoitia keeps the twelfth position with 14 games lost. Maquinaria Ensino will face league's second-placed Sant Adria in Sant Adria de Besos in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Azkoitia will play at home against ADBA (#13) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
