Regular Season Round 23: Reggio Emilia - Milano Hikkaduwa 65-74

There was no surprise when 11th ranked Reggio Emilia (9-15) was defeated at home by ninth ranked Milano Urania (10-13) 74-65 on Sunday. It was a great evening for the former international power forward Andrea Paleari (202-81) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds. The former international swingman Andrea Ghiacci (200-81, agency: SPORTlab Agency) helped adding 21 points and 5 rebounds. Milano Urania's coach Riccardo Eliantonio used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Swingman Gioacchino Chiappelli (195-91) responded with 24 points and 7 rebounds and guard Luca Bertolini (175-85) scored 8 points. Milano Urania maintains ninth place in B with 10-13 record. Newly promoted Reggio Emilia keeps the eleventh position with 15 games lost. Milano Urania will face Volpino AltoSeb. (#14) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Reggio Emilia will play against Crema and hope to win that game.
