Very important is a road loss of third ranked Alma Trieste (16-8) against eleventh ranked Piacenza (11-13) on Sunday night. Visiting Alma Trieste was defeated by Piacenza in a tough game in Casalpusterlengo 70-78. Piacenza forced 20 Alma Trieste turnovers. The winners were led by American guard Kenny Hasbrouck (191-86, college: Siena) who scored that evening 30 points and guard Tommaso Raspino (200-89, agency: Players Group) supported him with 18 points and 8 rebounds. Even 18 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists by forward Matteo Da-Ros (204-89) did not help to save the game for Alma Trieste. American forward Javonte Green (193-93, college: Radford, agency: Duran International) added 16 points and 9 rebounds. Alma Trieste's coach Eugenio Dalmasson rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Piacenza moved-up to tenth place in A2. Loser Alma Trieste dropped to the fourth position with eight games lost. Piacenza will meet higher ranked Mantova (#8) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
