Very important is a road loss of second ranked Hapoel B/S (15-8) against fourth ranked Hap.R/G Givat. (15-8) on Tuesday night. Visiting Hapoel B/S was defeated by Hap.R/G Givat. in a tough game in Givataim 75-84. Hap.R/G Givat. forced 19 Hapoel B/S turnovers. It was a great evening for American guard Rashad Madden (196-92, college: Arkansas) who led his team to a victory scoring 21 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. American-Nigerian Jamal Olasewere (201-91, college: LIU Brooklyn) helped adding 26 points and 8 rebounds. American power forward Jeff Allen (201-87, college: Virginia Tech) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 16 rebounds and the other American import swingman Jason Williams (198-83, college: UTEP) scored 24 points. Hap.R/G Givat. moved-up to second place, which they share with Hapoel K/S and Hapoel B/S. Hap.R/G Givat. will play against league's leader Maccabi Raanana on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Hapoel B/S will play against Hapoel Kfar Saba and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
