Regular Season Round 30: Horsholm - Bakken 70-113

An interesting game for Bakken (24-4) which played road game in Horsholm against 3rd ranked Horsholm (15-13). First ranked Bakken had an easy win 113-70. The game without a history. Bakken led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Horsholm's 44 and made 22-of-29 free shots (75.9 percent) during the game, while Horsholm only scored five points from the stripe. Bakken forced 27 Horsholm turnovers and outrebounded them 46-28 including a 31-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. It was a good game for the former international swingman Thomas Laerke (195-91, agency: Blacktop Management) who led his team to a victory with 20 points. The former international guard Adama Darboe (190-86) contributed with 14 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Five Bakken players scored in double figures. Bakken's coach Jakob Freil felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Andreas Meilby (198-92) replied with 26 points and 5 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) and power forward Asbjorn Midtgaard (210-97) added 12 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Horsholm. Bakken have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 24-4 record. Horsholm at the other side keeps the third place with 13 games lost.
