Rather expected game when 5th ranked Cactus Tbilisi (8-14) was defeated on the road by second ranked Kutaisi (15-6) 82-78 on Friday. The hosts trailed by 11 points after three quarters before their 27-12 charge, which allowed them to win the game. International point guard Giorgi Tsintsadze (192-86) fired 17 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Guard Levan Tsekvava (190-89) chipped in 16 points and 6 rebounds. Kutaisi's coach Kote Tugushi used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. The former international swingman Beqa Chikviladze (196-91) produced 19 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and American guard Terik Bridgeman (198, college: William Pater.) added 12 points and 9 rebounds respectively for lost side. Five Kutaisi and four Cactus Tbilisi players scored in double figures. Defending champion maintains second position with 15-6 record having seven points less than leader Dinamo Tbilisi.
