Quarter-Finals Round 2: Baerum Basket - Nidaros Jets 102-94

Baerum rallied past Nidaros Jets to complete the sweep of the series. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 28-16. But Nidaros Jets won third quarter 33-25. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Baerum Basket forced 25 Nidaros Jets turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists. American forward James Weatherspoon (198-92, college: Toledo) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 14 rebounds. The other American import point guard Eric Gilchrese (183-87, college: New Hampshire) contributed with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 11 assists for the winners. Gilchrese is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Baerum Basket's coach Matthias Eckhoff allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American guard Kahlil McDonald (194-87, college: W.Kentucky) replied with 24 points and 8 rebounds (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) and forward Jakob Baiden (194-93) added 16 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Nidaros Jets. Four Nidaros Jets players scored in double figures.
