Regular Season Round 22: Olimpi - Dinamo Tbilisi 82-84

Seventh-ranked Olimpi (7-14) gave a tough game to first ranked Dinamo Tbilisi (21-1) on Saturday. The visitors managed to secure only two-point victory 84-82. However their fans expected much easier game. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Olimpi. Dinamo Tbilisi made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. Center Ilia Londaridze (205-89) scored 22 points and 6 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the former international Levan Patsatsia (198-88, college: Troy) chipped in 9 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. At the losing side the former international guard Revaz Rogava (191-93) responded with 22 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Irakli Mikeladze (185-94) scored 15 points. Four Olimpi players scored in double figures. Dinamo Tbilisi have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 21-1 record. Olimpi at the other side keeps the seventh place with 14 games lost. Dinamo Tbilisi are looking forward to face Batumi (#5) at home in the next round. Olimpi will play against Energy Invest and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
