Stjarnan overcame IR to gain the second straight win. The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. The best player for the winners was the former international power forward Hlynur Baeringsson (200-82) who had a double-double by scoring 10 points, 13 rebounds and 7 assists. The former international point guard Justin Shouse (181-81, college: Mercyhurst) chipped in 19 points and 5 rebounds. Five Stjarnan players scored in double figures. American forward Danero Thomas (196-86, college: Murray St.) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Matthias Sigurdarson (180-94, college: Columbus St.) added 24 points and 4 assists respectively for the hosts. IR's coach Borche Ilievski tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game.
