Regular Season Round 19: Aspac - Pacific Caesar 67-69

There was a minor upset in Jakarta where 3rd placed Aspac (10-5) was edged by fifth ranked Pacific Caesar (9-5) 69-67 on Saturday. Aspac was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Pacific Caesar dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Aspac's 18. They outrebounded Aspac 50-37 including 37 on the defensive glass. It was a great evening for Canadian forward Kevin Loiselle (198-88) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 28 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists. American guard David Seagers (188-88, college: Dowling) helped adding 23 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists. Pacific Caesar's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side American point guard Dom Williams (180, college: Cent.Washington) responded with 24 points and 6 assists and center Valentino Wuwungan (193-89) scored 4 points and 10 rebounds. They have a solid series of four victories in a row. Pacific Caesar maintains fifth place with 9-5 record. Aspac at the other side dropped to the fourth position with five games lost. Pacific Caesar will face higher ranked Pelita Jaya (#3) in Jakarta in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
