Regular Season Round 19: Satria Muda - JNE BSC 79-53

Very expected game in Jakarta where 9th ranked JNE BSC (4-10) was crushed by first ranked Satria Muda (12-1) 79-53 on Saturday. The game without a history. Satria Muda led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Satria Muda outrebounded JNE BSC 44-32 including a 35-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. Americans were the main players on the court. It was a great evening for guard Tyreek Jewell (185-93, college: St.Francis, NY) who led his team to a victory scoring 13 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Forward Carlos Smith (206-90, college: Bowie St.) helped adding 14 points and 10 rebounds. At the losing side forward Chris Brand (208-90, college: Lincoln, PA) responded with 20 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 blocks and point guard Raheem Singleton (182-89, college: Maine) scored 15 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Satria Muda have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain first place with 12-1 record. JNE BSC lost third consecutive game. They keep the ninth position with ten games lost. Satria Muda will face Garuda (#6) in Bandung in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game.
