Regular Season Round 28: Polonia Leszno - Sokol Lancut 77-65

The most surprising game was another loss of top-ranked Sokol Lancut (21-7) on the court of seventh ranked Polonia Leszno on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by Polonia Leszno 77-65. Polonia Leszno forced 25 Sokol Lancut turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of Maksym Kulon (191-93) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and guard Jakub Koelner (183-93) who added 15 points during the contest. At the losing side power forward Maciej Klima (203-82) responded with 8 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Sebastian Szymanski (183-91, agency: Promotex) scored 16 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Polonia Leszno (16-12) moved-up to sixth place. Sokol Lancut lost third consecutive game. They still keep top position with seven games lost. They share it with Legia W-wa. Polonia Leszno are looking forward to face Biofarm PZN (#8) in Poznan in the next round. Sokol Lancut will play on the road against Pogon Prudnik (#7) and is hoping to win this game.
