No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked BVM 2012 (13-7) smashed on the road 13th ranked Vigo VGO (6-15) 77-57 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by BVM 2012. Vigo VGO was better in second period 18-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was Brazilian center Dida Pereira (203-92, college: Sequoias CC) who scored 20 points and 7 rebounds. American guard Lucas Hausman (190-93, college: Bowdoin, agency: Duran International) chipped in 21 points. At the other side the best for losing team was American Johnathan Murphy (199-89, college: Columbus St.) who recorded 20 points and 6 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Nick Grieves (193-92, college: CS East Bay) added 20 points respectively. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. BVM 2012 moved-up to fourth place in Group A-B, which they share with Calidus Gal.COB. Newly promoted Vigo VGO keeps the thirteenth position with 15 games lost. BVM 2012 will face Gijon (#10) at home in the next round where they are favorite. Vigo VGO will play against Ponferrada CDP and hope to win that game.
