Regular Season Round 24: Hapoel B/S - Hapoel K/S 79-82

Date: March 21, 2017
The most shocking disappointment of round 24 was only three-point a home defeat of second-best Hapoel B/S (15-9) to fourth ranked Hapoel Kfar Saba (16-8) 82-79 in the game for the second place. It was a key game for the second position in the league. 26 personal fouls committed by Hapoel B/S helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Denzel Livingston (193-93, college: Incarnate Word) who helped to win the game recording 28 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists and forward Eitan Rotemberg (197-91) who added 10 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Four Hapoel Kfar Saba players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American power forward Jeff Allen (201-87, college: Virginia Tech) with a double-double by scoring 27 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists and his fellow American import guard Anthony Fisher (191-86) scored 7 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists. Hapoel Kfar Saba moved-up to second place. Hapoel B/S at the other side dropped to the third position with nine games lost. They share it with Hap.R/G Givat.. Hapoel Kfar Saba are looking forward to face Hapoel Migd.H. (#11) in Tarshicha in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Hapoel B/S will play on the road against the league's leader Maccabi Raanana (#1) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
