Regular Season Round 35: Boras - Malbas 95-74

No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Boras Basket (16-15) smashed at home bottom-ranked Malbas (3-28) 95-74. The game without a history. Boras Basket led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Boras Basket outrebounded Malbas 49-22 including a 22-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Malbas' players. It was an exceptional evening for American forward Trayvonn Wright (201-91, college: N.Dakota St., agency: Mansfield and Associates) who led the winners and scored 32 points and 9 rebounds. The former international Christian Maraker (207-82, college: Pacific) accounted for 14 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side. American guard Adrian Rodgers (194-92, college: Southern, agency: Three Eye Sports) came up with 25 points and 7 rebounds and guard Jordan Peltier (193-95) added 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Malbas in the defeat. Four Malbas players scored in double figures. Malbas' coach Henrik Svensson gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Boras Basket moved-up to fifth place. Malbas lost their third game in a row. They stay dead last with 28 lost games. Boras Basket's next round opponent will be higher ranked Uppsala Basket (#4) at home and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Malbas will play against the league's leader BC Lulea (#1) and hope to win that game.
