One of their biggest challengers Charleville-Mezieres (13-11) was outscored at home by seventh ranked STB Le Havre (13-11) with the biggest margin this round 88-63. The game without a history. STB Le Havre led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. STB Le Havre outrebounded Charleville-Mezieres 40-25 including a 31-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Charleville-Mezieres' coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. STB Le Havre moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Charleville and Boulazac. STB Le Havre's next round opponent will be SPO Rouen (#11) at home where they are favorite. Charleville-Mezieres will play against Nantes (#9) and hope to win that game.
