Regular Season Round 15: Kaohsiung - KL Dragons 108-114

The game in Kaohsiung City was also quite interesting. Fifth ranked Malaysian KL Dragons (7-13) played at the court of 6th ranked Taiwanese Kaohsiung (5-15). KL Dragons managed to secure a 6-point victory 114-108 on Saturday. Kaohsiung trailed by 12 points at halftime and as many as 18 after three quarters before a 36-24 last quarter charge cut the deficit to 108-114 at the end of the game. It was a great evening for American point guard Kiwi Gardner (170-93, college: Providence) who led his team to a victory scoring 40 points (!!!), 8 assists and 4 steals. His fellow American import guard Joshua Munzon (191-95, college: CS Los Angeles) helped adding 35 points (!!!), 8 rebounds and 6 assists. The best for the losing side was American forward Chris Oliver (201-85, college: Radford, agency: Babcock Sports) with a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!) and 16 rebounds and American-Taiwanese swingman Wesley Hsu (191-84, college: Elon) scored 25 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Kaohsiung's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. KL Dragons have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain fifth place with 7-13 record. Kaohsiung lost seventh consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 15 games lost.
