Bottom-ranked Entente Orleans 45 managed to get a seventh victory, breaking the seven-game losing streak on Saturday night. This time they won against seventeenth-ranked Sluc Nancy 78-68. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Sluc Nancy. The game was mostly controlled by Entente Orleans 45. Sluc Nancy managed to win third quarter 15-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Entente Orleans 45 looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The best player for the winners was American swingman JP Prince (203-87, college: Tennessee) who scored 15 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). The other American import forward Marcellus Sommerville (200-82, college: Bradley) chipped in 14 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Five Entente Orleans 45 players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American-Montenegrin point guard Brion Rush (186-84, college: Grambling St., agency: Three Eye Sports) who recorded 17 points and 6 rebounds and Canadian-Italian power forward Marc Trasolini (206-90, college: Santa Clara) added 18 points respectively. Entente Orleans 45 (7-17) moved-up to sixteenth place, which they share with Antibes. Loser Sluc Nancy dropped to the bottom position with 18 games lost. Entente Orleans 45 will meet higher ranked Le Portel (#9) on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Sluc Nancy will play against JSF Nanterre (#4) where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
