Nafta-Uni topped Vytis in the opener. The game was mostly controlled by Nafta-Uni.. Vytis was better in fourth quarter 21-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Nafta-Uni. players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Vytis was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Point guard Deividas Anuzis (182-92) nailed 17 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and Dziugas Slavinskas (203-98) accounted for 7 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists. Four Nafta-Uni. players scored in double figures. Gytis Radzevicius (195-95) came up with 10 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Tadas Sebeziovas (185-85) added 15 points respectively for Vytis in the defeat. Vytis' coach Virginijus Sirvydis gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win.
