The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Tbilisi: Cactus Tbilisi (#6) and Mgzavrebi (#8). Mgzavrebi was defeated at home 69-82 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. The game without a history. Cactus Tbilisi led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. The best player for the winners was American center John Florveus (211-90, college: Georgia) who had a double-double by scoring 31 points, 14 rebounds and 4 blocks. His fellow American import guard Terik Bridgeman (198, college: William Pater.) chipped in 16 points and 9 rebounds. Avtandili Lominashvili (204-92) produced 14 points and 7 rebounds and American point guard Corey Allen (185-92, college: S.Florida) added 13 points and 10 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Cactus Tbilisi (9-14) moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Sokhumi. Mgzavrebi at the other side stay at the bottom position with 17 games lost. Cactus Tbilisi is looking forward to face Batumi (#7) on the road in the next round. Mgzavrebi's supporters also look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Tbilisi to the arena Olimpi.
