Regular Season Round 26: Legnano - Latina Basket 77-66

Everything went according to plan in Castellanza where third ranked Legnano (16-10) won against 5th ranked Latina Basket (14-12) 77-66 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was American center William Mosley (203-89, college: Northwestern St.) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks. The other American import Nikolas Raivio (192-86, college: Portland, agency: Pensack Sports) chipped in 12 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists. The former international point guard Marco Passera (180-82) produced 16 points and 4 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) and American point guard Keron DeShields (190-92, college: Tennessee St.) added 12 points and 9 rebounds respectively for the guests. Five Legnano and four Latina Basket players scored in double figures. Legnano maintains third position in A2 with 16-10 record having four points less than leader Angelico Biella. Loser Latina Basket keeps the fifth place with 12 games lost. Legnano will face Agropoli (#16) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Latina Basket will play against Viola RC (#15) in Reggio Calabria and hope to win that game.
