Date: March 27, 2017
Very expected game in Reggio Emilia where 11th ranked Brescia (10-14) was crushed by seventh ranked Grissin Bon RE (13-11) 103-70 on Monday. The game was mostly controlled by Grissin Bon RE. Brescia was better in second period 18-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Grissin Bon RE looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Brescia's players. Worth to mention a great performance of international Amedeo Della-Valle (192-93, college: Ohio St., agency: BeoBasket) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and the former international Pietro Aradori (194-88) who added 10 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was naturalized American forward Christian Burns (203-85, college: Philadelphia) with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 14 rebounds (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) and American forward Marcus Landry (201-85, college: Wisconsin) scored 19 points.
