Regular Season Round 27: BSW Sixers - Wusterhausen 51-59

Very important is a home loss of third ranked Sixers (14-6) against eighth ranked Wusterhausen (7-12) on Saturday night. Host Sixers were defeated by Wusterhausen in a tough game in Sandersdorf 51-59. Wusterhausen dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Sixers' 26. They outrebounded Sixers 44-30 including a 32-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was forward Christoph Tetzner (201-81) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds. Noe Trenz (195-89) chipped in 9 points and 8 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Terrence Williams (198-93, college: Charlotte) who recorded 14 points and 8 rebounds and Czech center Jaroslav Tyrna (207-86, college: New Orleans, agency: Octagon Europe) added 16 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Wusterhausen moved-up to seventh place in North, which they share with Rendsburg. Loser Sixers keep the third position with six games lost. They share it with Aschersleben. Wusterhausen will meet at home Rendsburg (#7) in the next round. Sixers will play against Weser Bsk/BTS (#10) in Neustadt and hope to secure a win.
