Regular Season Round 26: Medacbasket - San Juan 85-69

Everything could happen in Malaag at the game between two tied teams. Both eighth ranked Medacbasket and 7th ranked San Juan had identical 4-9 record. This time Medacbasket used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from San Juan del Puerto 85-69 on Saturday night. The game was mostly controlled by Medacbasket. San Juan was better in second period 21-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Forward Pablo Ibanez (198-93) scored 25 points and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American guard Taylor Cameron (196-91, college: Winona St.) chipped in 16 points and 5 assists during the contest. Miguel Mora responded with 16 points and guard Antonio Rodriguez (185-78) scored 14 points. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Medacbasket (5-9) moved-up to sixth place in Group D Clasif, which they share with Andujar. San Juan lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the eighth position with ten games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
