Date: April 1, 2017
The most crucial game of the last round was another loss of Real Canoe (20-6) at the home court. Hosts were defeated by Real Madrid II (20-6) 61-51. It was a key game for the top position in Group B. The game was mostly controlled by Real Madrid II. Real Canoe was better in second period 14-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Forward Javier Salson (199-82, college: Bloomfield, agency: Duran International) notched 20 points to lead the effort and Senegalese center Khadim Sow (210-99) supported him with 8 points and 11 rebounds. Real Madrid II's coach Javier Juarez allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even 19 points and 5 rebounds by swingman Ruben Martinez (196-85) did not help to save the game for Real Canoe. Center Pablo Rodrigo (204-86) added 9 points and 8 rebounds for the hosts.
