Regular Season Round 26: Torrelodones - Lanzarote 86-66

There was a minor upset in Madrid where 12th ranked Lanzarote (9-16) was outplayed by fifteenth ranked Torrelodones (5-19) 86-66 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Torrelodones. Lanzarote was better in fourth quarter 25-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Lanzarote 45-32 including a 37-25 advantage in defensive rebounds. Guard Pedro Robles (192-77) scored 31 points to lead the charge for the winners and center Mamadou Diagne (208-98) chipped in 13 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Center Pamor Diene (208-98) responded with 13 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Raul Rodriguez (186-92) scored 11 points and 6 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Torrelodones maintains fifteenth position in Group B with 5-19 record. Newly promoted Lanzarote keeps the twelfth place with 16 games lost. Torrelodones will face higher ranked Alcobendas (#11) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
