There was an upset when higher ranked Milano Urania (12-15) was defeated on the road by fourteenth ranked Vicenza (8-19) 80-72 on Sunday. It was a great evening for forward Andrea Campiello (200-87) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds. Guard Nicola Boaro (187-92) helped adding 16 points and 5 assists. Four Vicenza players scored in double figures. Vicenza's coach Sandro Orlando used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. The best for the losing side was point guard Simone Ferrarese (182-87) with 19 points and 4 assists and forward Lorenzo Tortu (200-92, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 10 points and 9 rebounds. Vicenza maintains fourteenth place in B with 8-19 record. Loser Milano Urania dropped to the ninth position with 15 games lost. Vicenza will face higher ranked Cento (#4) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
