Very predictable result when second ranked Bisceglie (22-5) defeated on the road 8th ranked Rimini (12-13) 71-56 on Sunday. It was a great evening for forward Gianmarco Leggio (203-94) who led his team to a victory scoring 15 points and 5 rebounds. Naturalized Argentinian power forward Enzo-Damian Cena (201-92) helped adding 10 points and 6 rebounds. Five Bisceglie players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was swingman Leonardo Battistini (194-95) with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 14 rebounds and point guard Davide Meluzzi (180-98, agency: Interperformances) scored 8 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Bisceglie maintains second place in B with 22-5 record having just two point less than leader Montegrano, which they share with Bergamo. Loser Rimini dropped to the ninth position with 13 games lost. Bisceglie will face Venafro (#11) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Rimini will play against Ortona and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
