Regular Season Round 25: Banco di Srd - Enel Brindisi 79-78

A very close game took place in Sassari between Banco di Srd and Enel Brindisi. Sixth ranked Banco di Srd (14-11) got a very close home victory over 8th ranked Enel Brindisi (12-13). Banco di Srd managed to escape with a 1-point win 79-78 on Sunday evening. Enel Brindisi trailed by 17 points after 3 quarters before a 29-13 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 78-79 at the end of the game. Four Enel Brindisi players scored in double figures. Banco di Srd moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Grissin Bon RE and Betaland Cdo. Loser Enel Brindisi keeps the eighth position with 13 games lost. They share it with The Flexx PT and Auxilium TO. Banco di Srd will meet higher ranked Dolomiti En. TR (#4) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Enel Brindisi will play against VL Pesaro (#16) and hope to secure a win.
