There was a small surprise when twelfth ranked Mens Sana 1871 (13-14) beat 10th ranked Lighthouse TR (13-14) in Siena 85-71 on Sunday. It was a good game for American guard KT Harrell (193-92, college: Auburn) who led his team to a victory with 18 points and 9 assists. Naturalized Brazilian Jonathan Tavernari (197-87, college: BYU) contributed with 19 points for the winners. Kenneth Viglianisi (193-92, agency: Players Group) answered with 23 points and the former international power forward Andrea Renzi (207-89, agency: Players Group) added 16 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Lighthouse TR. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Mens Sana 1871 maintains twelfth place in A2 with 13-14 record. Mens Sana 1871 will face league's second-placed Tortona on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
