Kouvot cruised past Helsinki Seagulls to draw things level in the series. The game without a history. Kouvot led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. American forward Rakeem Buckles (203-90, college: FIU) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds. The other American import guard James Sinclair (190-93, college: W.Carolina) contributed with 15 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Five Kouvot players scored in double figures. Forward Timo Heinonen (198-81, agency: Blacktop Management) replied with 5 points and 9 rebounds and the former international center Gerald Lee (208-87, college: ODU) added 12 points in the effort for Helsinki Seagulls. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
