Quarter-Finals Round 2: Nantes - Flammes 52-76

Flammes upset Nantes on the road to punch the semifinal tickets. The game was mostly controlled by Flammes. Nantes Reze was better in second period 23-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Nantes Reze to just 3 points in fourth quarter. Flammes dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Nantes Reze's 20. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. Kadidia Minte (186-91) notched a double-double by scoring 15 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the effort and international guard Amel Bouderra (160-89) supported her with 14 points and 13 assists. Four Flammes players scored in double figures. Even 10 points and 5 assists by American-Armenian swingman Quianna Chaney (180-86, college: LSU, agency: Two Points) did not help to save the game for Nantes Reze. Canadian forward Katherine Plouffe (190-92, college: Marquette) added 5 points and 9 rebounds for the hosts.
