There was no surprise when 9th ranked Westerstede (4-14) was crushed on the road by seventh ranked ALBA Berlin II (8-10) 90-71 on Sunday. ALBA Berlin II forced 27 Westerstede turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Jacob Knauf (210-97) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds and Kevin Wohlrath (197-95) who added 16 points during the contest. ALBA Berlin II's coach Patrick Femerling let to play all 12 players saving starting five for next games. At the losing side power forward Marcel Kessen (207-97) responded with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds and naturalized Bosnian point guard Robert Drijencic (190-96) scored 16 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. ALBA Berlin II moved-up to sixth place in North. Newly promoted Westerstede keeps the ninth position with 14 games lost.
